Hello everybody, I am E. Yuri Figini: EYF.

Born in Italy in 1968, I graduated from a school of electronics in 1989.  I moved to Germany in 1991 where I began to study art.  As a self-taught painter, I feel that  I have an unbiased approach to art and try to show this by varying my style.  Every one of my paintings is like a diary for me: my memories, feelings and ideas at that time are indelibly imprinted onto the canvas. 

 I like to challenge myself when I begin a new series of paintings: I find one leading idea or project and try to create several variations on that theme, each painting connected to the others, but with its own character and reason for being.

From 2003 to 2006, I lived in Japan with my wife, the real source of my inspiration, and every day in that new world I tried to express my feelings through my art.  After a short soujourn in Italy, I moved back to Japan in October 2007 and I am very busy working on several new projects.

Salve a tutti, sono E. Yuri Figini, o EYF.

Sono nato  a Monza (MI) nel 1968 e mi sono diplomato in elettronica nel 1989. Dopo il servizio militare nel 1990 sono andato a vivere in Germania, dove ho iniziato a studiare pittura ed arte. 

Essendo un autodidatta, credo di avere un libero approccio nella mia arte e cerco di esprimere questo sentimento variando il mio stile pittorico.  Ognuno dei miei dipinti e' come un diario per me, memorie, sentimenti, idee sono indelebilmente dipinte sulla tela.

Quando inizio una nuova serie di dipinti, mi piace sfidare me stesso, trovo una idea o un progetto principale che mi guidera' nello sviluppare nuove variazioni sullo stesso tema, ogni dipinto e' concatenato agli altri ma ha anche un suo proprio carattere e ragione d'essere.

Dall' agosto del 2003 a maggio del 2006 ho vissuto in Giappone con mia moglie che e' la vera sorgente d'ispirazione e ogni giorno in questo nuovo mondo ho cercato di esprimere le mie  sensazioni nella mia arte.  Dopo un breve soggiorno in Italia, sono tornato dall'ottobre 2007, in Giappone  e sono oberato con i miei nuovi progetti artistici.

Ich wurde 1968 in Monza (Mi), Italien geboren und habe mein Abitur im Fach Elektronik  1989 abgeschlossen.  Nach dem Wehrdienst ging ich nach Stuttgart, Deutschland, wo ich mich mit Malerei und Kunst beschäftigt habe.  Als Autodidakt glaube ich, dass ich mich künstlerisch frei entfalten kann und versuche diese Gefühl auch auszudrücken, indem ich meinen Stil variiere.

Jedes meiner Gemälde ist wie ein Tagebuch für mich: Erinnerungen, Gefühle, Ideen sind auf Leinwand geschrieben.  Wenn ich eine neue Serie von Bildern anfange, ist das eine Herausforderung für mich.  Es entsehen verschiedene Gemälde zu einer Idee, die miteinander verbunden sind aber auch gleichzeitig in sich geschlossen sind und selbständig existieren können.

Vom August 2003 bis Mai 2006 habe ich mit meiner Frau in Japan gewohnt.  Sie ist eine echte Inspirationsquelle für mich und jeden Tag versuche ich in dieser neuen Welt meine Empfindungen  auszudrücken. Nach eine kurze Zeit in Italien, bin ich wieder nach Japan zurueckgezogen, und jetzt bin ich sehr beschaeftigt mit verschiedenen Kunstprojekte.
